My Journey to Peace

I know what it feels like to live in fear inside your own home. For forty years, I prayed for peace, tried to make things better, and carried a weight that no woman should have to bear. It took eighteen brave attempts before I finally stepped out of that life for good. Fourteen years later, I am living in safety — and I want that same freedom for you.

I believe deeply that God does not ask any woman to stay in harm. He calls us to dignity, safety, and peace. Faith is not meant to trap you; it is meant to strengthen you. And strength does not always look loud — sometimes it looks like quiet courage, small steps, or simply admitting that something is wrong.

This blog blends faith and practical support because both matter. You will find gentle encouragement, honest language, and clear guidance to help you understand what you’re facing and what options you have. You will also find hope — not the kind that ignores reality, but the kind that grows when a woman begins to see her worth again.

My motivation is simple:

I want women to know they are not alone.

I want women to know they are believed.

I want women to know they deserve safety — today, not someday.

My journey shapes my values: compassion, truth, courage, and the belief that healing is possible at any age. I am 72 now, blessed with children and grandchildren who carry their own scars from growing up in an abusive home. Their resilience inspires me to speak openly, to help other women break free, and to remind you that your story matters.

If you are hurting, confused, or afraid, you are welcome here. You are not forgotten. You are not weak. And with God’s help — and the right support — you can rebuild your life in safety and joy.
